As I look back on 2023, I’m grateful for the opportunities and experiences that have shaped my journey. Here’s a glimpse into the milestones that made this year truly exceptional:
1οΈβ£ My First Excel Training Course:
Hosting my first official Excel training was a moment of pride. Excel is not just software; it’s a skill that can transform careers. Witnessing the growth and confidence in my students as they embraced Excel proficiency was immensely fulfilling. The course lasted 3 months and involved 4 students, which I believe is a good start.
2οΈβ£ Becoming an ALX Student and Nomination for the Humility Award:
I was privileged to be selected as part of the first cohort of the ALX Data Science Program.
Over the last 7 months, I have learned so much, especially in leadership, soft skill development and advanced data analytics. I was also nominated for upholding the ALX CHAIR values, which reaffirmed my commitment to excellence and teamwork. I am grateful to be part of a community that values growth and purpose, and I am excited about the months ahead.
3οΈβ£ Improving Workflows and Building an Excel Sales Tracking Tool:
Beyond my role as a Medical Representative, I took on the challenge of enhancing our office’s IT infrastructure. From troubleshooting tech issues to implementing streamlined solutions, the goal was not just to work efficiently, but to empower every colleague with the tools they need to thrive. Simultaneously, I conducted Excel training sessions for my medical representative colleagues and eventually created a powerful sales template that has now become the go-to tool for sales reporting.
4οΈβ£ Mentorship for the Youth:
Beyond professional achievements, giving back to the community has always been a priority. Providing mentorship in areas of career development, moral guidance, and life in general to the youth was incredibly rewarding. Investing in the next generation is key to a brighter future.
5οΈβ£ Digital Education on TikTok:
Embracing the power of digital platforms, I launched a TikTok account dedicated to sharing core Excel and IT skills for working professionals. It’s been a joy connecting with a broader audience and contributing to the digital learning revolution.
π Conclusion:
As I conclude this remarkable year, I’m humbled by the collective achievements and the impact on both personal and professional fronts. I am very grateful for the support from family, friends and work colleagues, and I look forward to new opportunities for growth in the coming year.
